News by Team Drivio | 22 Sep 2023

With the prices ranged between Rs 10.39-12 lakh, the new generation Ducati Scrambler is available in three models – Icon, Full Throttle and Nightshift.

  • The Scrambler bikes retain the 803cc L-twin cylinder, oil-and air-cooled Desmodue engine.
  • For the first time, the new model features ride-by-wire throttle management.
  • With changes to the swingarm, frame, and engine weight, the Scrambler is now 4 Kg lighter.

Almost a year after Ducati unveiled the second generation Scrambler motorcycles, at the 2022 EICMA, they have finally been launched in India. The new Scrambler range of motorcycles comprises three variants, with Icon being the entry-level Scrambler while Full Throttle is the sportiest of the three. The Nightshift adopts a café racer-style retro classic look.

Full-ThrottleRs 12 lakh
NightshiftRs 12 lakh

All three models continue to be powered by the same 803 cc L-twin cylinder, oil-and air-cooled Desmodue engine as the previous generation of Scramblers. The engine still delivers the same 73 BHP of power and 65 Nm torque as before. The Full Throttle trim comes with a quick shifter as a standard feature, while it’s also available as an option on the Icon and Nightshift trims.

The updated trellis frame setup is lighter, suspended by a Kyaba41mm USD front fork and a Kayaba mono shock absorber with a new swingarm at the rear. In addition to the Bluetooth-enabled 4.3-inch color TFT unit, the bikes also feature a ride-by-wire throttle and two new riding modes – Road and Wet. Despite the performance remaining the same, the Scrambler range of motorcycles has undergone massive changes in terms of design and features.
