Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Launched In India At Rs 11.09 Lakh

At this price point, the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is Rs 60,000 more expensive than the BS4-spec version of the motorcycle sold earlier in India.

After a halt of nearly three years, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has made a comeback on Indian soil. Launched at Rs 11.09 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has returned with mild changes. Kawasaki teased the Ninja ZX-6R a few days back on its social media handles, confirming its launch on January 1st, 2024.

Regarding the changes in the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, the new version gets BS6 stage-II compliancy for its inline-four, 636cc engine. Paired with a 6-speed transmission, the revised engine now claims 130 PS of power and 69 Nm of torque outputs. The motorcycle has also received a redesigned front fairing with new LED headlamps and a full-TFT instrument console, which has replaced the erstwhile part-digital cluster.
Please don't worry, the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R remains the same motorcycle. The suspension setup – Showa separate function inverted forks at the front and a gas-charged mono-shock at the rear – remains unchanged. So are the 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear tyres, along with dual 310mm discs at the front and a 220mm single disc at the rear for braking. The new Ninja ZX-6 R continues to get dual-channel ABS, bi-directional quick-shifter, riding modes and traction control.
