Marco Bezzecchi from Team Mooney VR46 Racing Team wins first Indian MotoGP

A prodigy of Valentino Rossi, Marco Bezzecchi started from the pole position in the first Indian MotoGP and won it by a large margin of nearly 9 seconds.
- Jorge Martin from Team Prima Primacy secured second, while Fabio Quartararo from Team Monster Energy Yamaha secured the third position.
- Championship leader Francesco Bagnio met with a crash, thus failing to complete the race.
- The race took place at Buddha International Circuit, Noida.
The first-ever Indian MotoGP concluded successfully, with Marco Bezzecchi from Team Mooney VR46 Racing winning the race by around nine seconds from the first runner-up, Jorge Martin from Team Prima Primacy Racing. Fabio Quartararo from Team Monster Energy Yamaha scored the last podium place by securing third in the race.
The race started with Marco Bezzecchi at the pole position, but couldn't maintain the lead from the start as he lost it to Francesco Bagnio from Ducati and Jorge Martin. However, he picked up pace and reclaimed the lead within the first two laps of the race. Meanwhile, the reigning champion Bagnio crashed out amidst the race, and as a result, his overall championship lead dropped to 13 points.
