A few pictures of the updated version of the Honda Dio have leaked, indicating a minute facelift of the Japanese two-wheeler’s most affordable scooter. The updated Honda Dio will also get a new range-topping H-Smart variant, which like the Activa H-Smart, will come with the exclusivity of keyless ignition tech.
What new features will the Honda Dio H-Smart get?
The highlight of the new Honda Dio H-Smart is the keyless ignition tech, which allows the rider to turn on the ignition by press of a button, without engaging the key in the ignition hole. Along with the keyless ignition, the Honda Dio H-Smart will also get new black alloy wheels and a SmartFind feature, which can help you locate the scooter by flashing both front and rear turn indicators.
It also gets a SmartUnlock feature for unlocking the handlebar and opening the fuel filler cap and under-seat storage compartment. The new Dio will retain the single-cylinder, 109.51cc engine from the current model.
What is the direct competition for the Honda Dio H-Smart?
The new Honda Dio will compete with the Hero Xoom 110, which looks equally sporty and is almost as affordable as the former.
