A full-TFT instrument console, LED lighting and more – here’s what the new TVS electric scooter will be offering, as indicated by a series of visual teasers.

  • The new TVS electric scooter will make its global debut in Dubai.
  • The teasers indicate that it will get a TFT instrument console with multiple display modes.
  • The new e-scooter might possibly share its battery pack with the iQube S.

For a few days, TVS has been releasing a few visual teasers of its all-new electric scooter, which will be making its debut in Dubai on August 23. The recent teasers released by TVS on its social media handles show that the new electric scooter gets a full-TFT instrument console with multiple display modes, much like the Ola S1 Pro. In one of the teasers, the console shows the word ‘Xonic’ at its bottom, indicating that the scooter might be called ‘Xonic’, or it might just be one of the riding modes on offer.

The console in the visual teaser also reveals a couple of more things. It shows the speedometer climbing up to 105 kmph, and it then stops climbing further. It indicates that the top speed of this new electric scooter will be 105 kmph. It also displays a remaining range of 63 km at 60% SOC, which means that the range should be between 105-110 km.

Even the TVS iQube S has the same real-world range, indicating that this new TVS electric scooter might share its battery pack with the iQube S. The scooter also gets a centrally-mounted vertical LED headlamp and vertical LED tail lamp much like the Creon concept scooter showcased by TVS at the Auto Expo 2018, indicating that this new TVS e-scooter is a production version of the same.
