Tork Kratos R ‘Urban’ Trim Introduced At Rs 1.67 Lakh

The Urban variant claims to offer a top speed of 70kmph.

Tork Motors, a Pune-based electric motorcycle manufacturer, has unveiled an innovative addition to its Kratos-R series - the Urban variant. Priced at Rs 1,67,499 (ex-showroom, Pune), this fresh iteration derives its essence from the existing Kratos-R model while presenting a slightly scaled-down feature set.

The Urban version introduces a specialized 'City' ride mode, optimizing for urban environments and offering a commendable top speed of 70kmph, coupled with an impressive range exceeding 100km per single charge.

Maintaining continuity in design and powertrain, the Urban edition retains the established styling and powertrain elements characteristic of the Tork portfolio. This model is offered in three distinct shades: Streaky Red, Oceanic Blue, and Midnight Black. Underneath its sleek exterior resides a 4.0kWh Li-ion battery pack that boasts an IP67 rating, powering an 'Axial Flux' motor.

For the initial phase, purchasers will enjoy a comprehensive suite of features for a 30-day period. This inclusive package encompasses multiple ride modes (Eco, City, and Sports), reverse mode, rapid charging, in-app navigation, real-time dashboard display via Bluetooth, vehicle tracking, anti-theft protection, geofencing, charging station locator, over-the-air updates, ride analysis, track mode analytics, intelligent data analysis, and guide-me-home lighting.

Subsequently, buyers who wish to unlock these features permanently can opt to do so for an additional cost of Rs 20,000 within six months of acquiring the vehicle.

The debut of the Kratos-R Urban model is scheduled through Tork Experience Zones situated across India, commencing from the 15th of August, 2023.
