From Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 to Aprilia RS457: Big-ticket Two-wheeler Launches In November

To keep the ball rolling even after the festive season, some new motorcycles are arriving this month, some of which have been in wait for a very long time.

  • Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 to make its global debut in the first week of November, followed by a launch in India by the end of this month. 
  • Made-in-India Aprilia RS457 is also expected to go on sale this month. 
  • The 321cc duo from Yamaha – YZF-R3 and MT-03 – might also witness an official launch this month. 

With the festive season ending with the eve of Diwali arriving ahead, the two-wheeler brands are also preparing for their big launches to keep the momentum rolling after the festive season. A few of the noteworthy big launches of the year are lined up to arrive in November, which are as follows:

Royal Enfield Himalayan 452

The details of the design and mechanical specifications of the all-new, heavily updated Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 have already been unveiled on the internet, with the global debut of the motorcycle set to take place at the EICMA 2023. The new Himalayan 452, which will be replacing the current Himalayan 411, will make its official Indian debut at the Royal Enfield’s annual “Moto verse” event in the last week of November.

Ducati Scrambler 2G

The second generation of the Ducati’s most affordable and practical motorcycle, the Scrambler range, was announced for the Indian market in September. The sales of the new Ducati Scrambler 2G, which will be offered in three variants – Icon, Full Throttle, and Nightshift, are expected to begin in the second half of November. Prices of the Ducati Scrambler 2G lineup range between Rs 10.39 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.

Aprilia RS457

Perhaps the most significant motorcycle from Aprilia for the Indian two-wheeler market, the RS457 middleweight supersport motorcycle was unveiled in September. The Aprilia RS457 will be the brand’s first motorcycle which will be manufactured in India for both local and global markets. Equipped with a parallel-twin 457cc engine, the new Aprilia RS457 is expected to hit the showroom floors towards the end of November 2023.

Yamaha YZF-R3 and MT-03

Yamaha showcased the much-anticipated parallel-twin 321cc siblings – the YZF-R3 super sport and MT-03 naked roadster, at the Indian GP in September. Many of the authorized dealerships of Yamaha have already started taking unofficial bookings for both motorcycles, which are expected to be officially launched by the end of November 2023.

Kinetic e-Luna

Once a popular two-wheeler from the bygone era, the Kinetic Luna moped is set to make a comeback in an all-electric avatar. Expected to claim a decent range and performance, the Kinetic e-Luna will be a greener and more direct alternative to the TVS XL100. There is a high chance that Kinetic might launch the e-Luna this month.
