Both variants sport halogen lighting and an analogue console, with a modern touch provided by a small LED Daytime Running Light (DRL). The matte series elevates style with a 3D logo and a unique seat cover.

This diminutive scooter is propelled by a modest 87.8cc single-cylinder engine, delivering a modest output of 5.43PS and 6.5Nm. Regarding some concerns, the Scooty Pep Plus has developed an irritating squeak when carrying a pillion passenger, which can be quite bothersome. Additionally, the design of the speedometer has left me less than impressed, as it proves challenging to read on the move, particularly during nighttime rides. 

The absence of a tripmeter necessitates manual tracking of mileage every time the scooter is refueled to calculate fuel efficiency. However, it's important to note that these issues, though somewhat inconvenient, are minor details in an otherwise excellent experience with the TVS Scooty Pep Plus.

TVS Scooty Pep Plus: Price

TVS has priced the Scooty Pep Plus at a very affordable rate. Prices for the tiny scooter start from Rs 65,514 and go all the way upto Rs 68,414 (both ex-showroom Delhi). That makes it one of India’s most affordable scooters. And given how accessible it is physically, keeping it accessible financially was also very important for TVS. Hence kudos to them for the same.
