2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Launched At Rs 1,47,347

The new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 bike comes with a list of features to add to its practicality as well as its sportiness.

  • The NS200’s 199cc engine makes 24.5PS and 18.5Nm.
  • Underpinnings include an inverted fork and a monoshock.
  • The new bike comes with a Rs 6,681 price hike.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has been on the market since 2013, receiving few updates save the switch to fuel injection to meet BS6 standards and some new colours. So, in order to keep the ageing Pulsar NS200 relevant in today's market, Bajaj has finally given it a much-needed set of updates.

2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200: What’s New?

The new 33mm inverted fork is the most noticeable change on the NS200. Bajaj has also included dual-channel ABS, which the bike desperately needed. That should imply that the bike is now more sporty and safer than before.

Bajaj has also ditched the ś brakes in favour of Grimeca ones. Normal circular discs have replaced the petal discs.

Bajaj has also provided a much-needed update to the dated-looking semi-digital console. It now includes more practical features such as Distance to Empty, real-time fuel efficiency, and a gear position indicator.

The NS200's 199cc engine is now ready to meet the upcoming OBD 2 standards.

2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200: Mileage

Bajaj also claims that the updated NS200 will return around 37kmpl, which, again is quite decent for the performance and sportiness it has on offer.

2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200: Price

At Rs 1,47,347 (ex-showroom Delhi), the NS200 costs Rs 6,681 more than before. That, honestly, sounds like a reasonable hike, given the substantial changes the bike has received. These updates should help to keep the Pulsar NS200 relevant and will also help differentiate customers between the N and NS lines of Pulsars.

That said, it is high time Bajaj gives the bike a much-needed overhaul, both in terms of performance and design.
