2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Breaks Cover With Comprehensive Upgrades

TVS Motor Company has pulled the wraps off the updated 2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V motorcycle. The popular 160cc bike receives exterior, mechanical, and feature upgrades as part of its mid-life makeover. Pre-bookings are open across India at an initial amount of Rs 10,000.

What's New

In terms of design, the 2024 Apache RTR 160 4V looks sportier than before courtesy of aggressive styling. The LED headlamp is new while the fuel tank extensions and fly screen ooze athleticism. New color options like Pearl White and Matte Blue accentuate the refreshed appeal.

The highlight upgrade however comes in the form of SmartXonnect - a Bluetooth-enabled connectivity system. Accessible via the smartphone app, it enables call/SMS alerts, document vault, and last parked location along with riding analytics like top speed recorder, trip meter, etc.

The 159.7cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine also benefits from a minor performance bump paired with new tech. The oil cooler has been deleted in favor of ram-air-assisted cooling for better heat dissipation. The motor puts down 17.8hp at 9250rpm and 14.73Nm torque at 7250rpm.

Available colors include Gloss Black, Matte Blue, T-grey, and Pearl White besides the special editions. The updated model will be retailed across all TVS dealerships in the country by the end of January 2024.
