2026 Honda CB750 Hornet: Now with E-Clutch & Fresh Colours
by | 26 Nov 2025
The 2026 Honda CB750 Hornet gains a significant usability boost with an optional E-Clutch system and four new dual-tone colour schemes, while retaining its core 755 cc engine and sporty streetfighter DNA.
Engine & Performance
Under the skin, the 2026 Hornet retains its 755 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor. The power figures remain unchanged: it produces 90.5 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox.
This engine, with its 270° crank and unicam cylinder head, is known for its characterful pulse and smooth mid-range usability.
The new E-Clutch system uses electronic actuators to automate clutch engagement, allowing riders to upshift, downshift, or even come to a stop in gear — all without having to operate the clutch lever.
If you prefer traditional feel, you can still switch back to manual clutch control anytime.
Chassis & Handling
The Hornet’s chassis remains fundamentally unchanged. It uses a diamond-steel frame paired with Showa 41 mm SFF-BP USD forks up front and a Pro-Link monoshock at the rear.
Braking continues with dual 296 mm radial four-piston discs in front and a single 240 mm disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.
Seat height is a manageable 795 mm, making the bike accessible for a wide range of riders.
Technology & Features
Electronics and rider aids remain a strong point. The 2026 Hornet retains its five-inch full-colour TFT display, now integrated with smartphone connectivity through Honda RoadSync.
Riding modes include Sport, Standard, Rain, and User, helping adapt power delivery to different conditions.
Safety and control features include Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), wheelie control, and an Emergency Stop Signal on sudden deceleration.
For 2026, Honda also offers a subtle under-cowl on the E-Clutch variant, improving looks without disturbing airflow or balance.
Cosmetic updates include four new dual-tone colour schemes:
- Graphite Black & Matt Ballistic Black Metallic with Red Frame
- Wolf Silver Metallic & Iridium Gray Metallic
- Goldfinch Yellow & Wolf Silver Metallic
- Matt Jeans Blue Metallic & Matt Ballistic Black Metallic
Who Is It For?
The 2026 CB750 Hornet is ideal for riders who want a mid-capacity streetfighter that’s both sporty and practical. With the optional E-Clutch, it's especially suited for urban commuting — letting you skip clutch work in traffic — yet retains its spirited engine for highway rides. Its accessible seat height, modern electronics, and aggressive styling make it a compelling choice for both experienced enthusiasts and newcomers looking to step into something more capable.
In short: if you want a balanced naked bike that adds convenience without compromising its performance edge, the 2026 Hornet is a very strong contender.
