The new Ather 450 Apex is touted to be the last model to be based on the decade-old 450 platform, which also underpins the 450S and 450X models.

  • The new Ather 450 Apex was launched at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
  • Based on the 450X, the Ather 450 Apex gets a new Warp+ riding mode.
  • It shares its motor and battery with the 450X, which have been tuned to deliver more power and range respectively.

After a few weeks of launching it in the Indian two-wheeler market, Ather Energy has now started the deliveries of its flagship model, the new 450 Apex, to its customers. Launched as a model with limited-run production, the new Ather 450 Apex was introduced at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The performance-oriented scooter was already on display across several Ather Energy dealerships since its launch. The Apex 450 competes with new Bajaj Chetak, Ola S1 Pro and TVS iQube.

While it retains the design of the 450X, the new 450 Apex gets a single blue-orange paint scheme with translucent side body panels that feature a unique blue pigmentation.

Besides this distinctive paint scheme, the new Ather 450 Apex also features a more powerful Warp+ riding mode, which enables the scooter to have a higher top speed. The new Ather 450 Apex also has a “Magic Twist” feature for regenerative braking even during deceleration. It also shares its motor and battery with the Ather 450X, which is now tuned to deliver better performance.
