Ather Energy has teased its upcoming family-friendly electric scooter, the Rizta, which aims to make EV technology accessible to a wider audience. The spy shots reveal the Rizta will sport a minimalist design with smooth body panels and limited creases. The flat apron and horizontally mounted LED headlamp integrated into the front panel give it a neat and modern look. The taillight mirrors the same horizontal theme. 

A spacious floorboard area hints at a roomy ride for the whole family. The new Ather scooter will compete with the likes of TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ola SX1 Pro and others in the segment.

Borrowing the Best from Ather 450

Ather's current 450 series has won praise for its performance, features and design. The Rizta will likely share the Ather 450's motor, battery and hardware. This includes speed of up to 90kmph and range of up to 150km on a single charge.
