Bajaj Auto plans to open 100+ Triumph showrooms by next year

After the successful launch and unveiling of Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X respectively inIndia, Bajaj Auto intends to increase Triumph showrooms by March next year. As per reports, the Indo-Brit JV will open close to 120 showrooms in India by the end of financial year 2023-24.

Recently, the launch of Triumph Speed 400 at a tempting price of Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) garnered overwhelming response from the enthusiasts. This special price was applicable only to the first 10,000 bookings. After this, the price will escalate to Rs 2.33 lakh. Owing to this, it took few days to achieve the milestone of 10,000 bookings for the Pune-headquartered two-wheeler major. The booking of 10,000 units also included the bookings for the Triumph Scrambler 400X. Sighting overwhelming excitement for the brand and to fulfil the demand, Bajaj Auto is determinedto increase Triumph showrooms across the country. At present, Triumph showrooms are handful andrestricted to metros the country. Whereas, the new showrooms will also target smaller Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities as well as the larger metro cities.
Unlike the current Triumph showrooms, which have large space, the forthcoming showrooms will berelatively smaller, but big enough to house the Triumph Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400X. The new showrooms will also display some high-capacity Triumph bikes like the Tiger, Street Triple and Rocket 3, which can be booked by the Indian customers.
