Bajaj is giving a special 'festive price' for its Chetak electric scooter, which now costs Rs 1.30 lakh if you buy it in Delhi or Bengaluru. This price includes a discount from the government's FAME-2 subsidy. Before, the Chetak used to cost Rs 1.44 lakh due to a reduction in the FAME-2 subsidy. So, this festive price means you can save Rs 14,000 on the Chetak scooter.

This deal is available all over the country, but we don't know exactly how long it will last. Bajaj just says it's only good for a short time. But we've found out that this special price has been available since August 1.

Not too long ago, the Chetak was the most expensive electric scooter you could buy. But with this recent price change, the Chetak has become a really good deal. Other electric scooters like the Ather 450X start at Rs 1.38 lakh and can go up to Rs 1.53 lakh with extra features. 

The Ola S1 Pro now costs Rs 1.47 lakh. Even the TVS iQube starts at Rs 1.34 lakh, and if you want the fancier version (S variant), it's Rs 1.40 lakh. The Vida V1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.46 lakh. So, right now, the Chetak is the most affordable premium electric scooter you can buy.
