Benelli BKX 125 Adventure Bike Unveiled for UK & Global 2026
by | 5 Jan 2026
Benelli has officially revealed the all-new Benelli BKX 125, a lightweight adventure motorcycle set to hit UK and global markets in early 2026. Targeted at young riders and those holding an A1 licence, this 125cc adventure bike blends classic trail capability with modern design and features, offering an accessible yet capable option in the competitive small-capacity segment.
Engine & Performance
At the heart of the BKX 125 is a newly developed 125cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine compliant with Euro 5+ emissions standards. Producing around 15 hp (11 kW) at 9,500 rpm and 12.1 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, it sits at the top of the power curve permitted for A1 licence riders, balancing usable performance with efficiency. The engine pairs with a smooth 6-speed gearbox, making it suitable for both city commuting and light off-road excursions. Expected fuel economy and a 12-litre tank give it an impressive theoretical range reaching up to 500 km thanks to low consumption and compact design.
Chassis & Handling
The BKX 125’s chassis features a steel tubular trellis frame that delivers rigidity and agility on varied terrain. Upfront, 41 mm fully adjustable forks allow riders to fine-tune preload, compression, and rebound damping, while a rear monoshock with similar adjustability provides control and comfort on trails and paved roads alike. With 180 mm suspension travel, a tall stance, and a 19-inch front / 17-inch rear spoked wheel combo, the motorcycle is built to handle light off-road trails, gravel paths, and everyday roads with confidence. The bike’s 860 mm seat height and 233 mm ground clearance further enhance its off-road aptitude without compromising urban practicality.
Technology & Features
Benelli equips the BKX 125 with full LED lighting and a striking headlamp design with integrated DRL (Daytime Running Lights) for visibility and a modern aesthetic. Safety is enhanced through front and rear ABS braking, with a 280 mm front disc and four-piston caliper, paired to a 240 mm rear disc setup. The ergonomic design ensures that even new riders find the controls intuitive and confidence-inspiring, while handguards with integrated indicators add practical protection and style to its adventure-ready looks.
Market Position & Pricing
Benelli plans to roll out the BKX 125 at dealerships across the UK and selected global markets in early 2026, with a starting price around £3,499 in the UK. Four colour options — Nordic White, Cement Grey, Avio Blue, and Dune Sea — aim to appeal to a broad range of tastes. Positioned as an ideal entry-level adventure motorcycle, it competes with other 125cc off-road-oriented bikes while offering stronger suspension adjustability and a stylish design.
In summary, the Benelli BKX 125 combines accessible power, capable chassis dynamics, and modern adventure-oriented features into a compelling 125cc package. Whether it’s daily commuting, weekend trail rides, or international touring aspirations, the BKX 125 promises a compelling blend of performance, style, and versatility for new and experienced riders alike.
