Featuring a simpler design and a more affordable price tag than the C12i Max, BGAUSS C12i EX is an interesting addition to the Indian two-wheeler market.
- The new e-scooter comes equipped with a waterproof 2kWh battery pack.
- With a single charge, which takes around 3 hours, the battery offers a range of 85 km.
- The 2500-watt electric motor generates up to 3.3 bhp of power and 105 Nm of torque.
The launch of the C12i EX variant comes months after BGAUSS rolled out C12i Max, which recorded over 6,000 sales in the first three months. Adding the C12i EX to its offerings will allow BGAUSS to target a wider market by appealing to buyers seeking an electric scooter under Rs.1 lakh. The new scooter comes in 7 different colours – Matte BGAUSS Blue, Foliage Green, Red Black, Pearl White, Shiny Silver, Yellow Black, and Brooklyn Black.

The C12i EX packs a similar IP67-rated battery pack as the more expensive Max variant, though with a much shorter range. The EX variant can travel 85 Km per charge, compared to the 135 km range offered by BGAUSS C12i Max.
Paired with the 2500-watt motor, it delivers decent performance for a scooter in its price range. The scooter can reach a top speed of 60 Km/h, which, together with the high torque output, makes it a decent choice for those seeking a two-wheeler EV.
