News by Team Drivio | 1 Apr 2023

From puny scooters to performance-oriented behemoth bikes, March had a lot in store for us.

  • Royal Enfield launched the updated 650 twins at a decent price hike.
  • Honda launched its latest commuter, the Shine 100, in order to take on the Hero Splendor Plus.
  • We also got the Super Splendor Xtec, a bike that’s loaded to the gills with features.

The third month of the year saw a flurry of two-wheeler launches. While many popular bikes were updated, we also saw the introduction of some stunning new electric scooters. Here's a comprehensive list of all the two-wheelers we saw this month:

2023 Bajaj Chetak

Bajaj unveiled the 2023 Chetak electric scooter, which received a few upgrades in addition to a new colour palette.

Hero Super Splendor Xtec

Hero, like many other motorcycles and scooters, gave the Super Splendor the Xtec treatment. For a reasonable price increase, the commuter now has a lot more features.

Updated Honda CB350s

Honda's retro twins, the H'ness CB350 and CB350RS, have joined the list of OBD 2-compliant bikes. Both bikes received some basic modifications for which they demanded a hefty sum of money.

Bajaj Pulsar NS160 & NS200

After nearly a decade of existence, Bajaj finally gave the NS160 and NS200 their most significant updates. USD forks, better tyres, revised brakes and a lot more, both bikes now sound like a lot more relevant than before.

Honda Shine 100

Honda finally launched the Shine 100, its answer to India's best-seller, the Hero Splendor Plus. The Shine 100 resembles the Shine but is nearly Rs 7,500 less expensive than the Splendor!

Updated Royal Enfield 650 Twins

The updated Royal Enfield 650 twins arrived in India nearly a month after they were launched abroad. With added practical bits, new alloys and a lot more, the retro twins now get a touch of modernity.

Honda Activa 125 H-Smart

The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer updated the Activa 125, adding an OBD2-compliant engine, more storage space, and a top-of-the-line, tech-loaded variant called the H-Smart.
