Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini Launched in India at ₹1 Crore
News by Drivio | 12 May 2026
India's premium motorcycle landscape has a new benchmark. Ducati has officially introduced the Panigale V4 Lamborghini in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom), representing the third major project born from the partnership between the two Italian brands, following the previous Diavel 1260 and Streetfighter V4 collaborations. All units allocated for India have already been sold, with the first delivery completed in Mumbai. This is not merely a superbike. It is a numbered artefact of Italian engineering ambition.
Engine & Performance
Based on the Panigale V4 S, the motorcycle is powered by a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine which develops a top power output of 218.5 hp at 13,500 rpm and peak torque of 122.1 Nm at 11,250 rpm. Ducati achieves these figures through a dedicated engine map and the fitment of a street-legal Akrapovič titanium silencer, which features carbon fibre end caps, contributing to both the sound profile and weight savings. The superbike weighs 185 kg without fuel, making it nearly 2 kg lighter than the standard Panigale V4 S, and Ducati claims a power-to-weight ratio of 1.18 hp per kg, making it the lightest and most powerful motorcycle in the Panigale lineup.
Design, Chassis & Technology
The visual identity of the bike revolves around the Verde Scandal and Grigio Telesto livery, which matches the launch colours of the Revuelto. Ducati designers reworked the front mudguard, tank cover, and tail section to reflect the sharp lines and "Y" motifs found on the Lamborghini supercar. The forged aluminium wheels are a standout feature, as they directly replicate the rim design of the Revuelto, complete with a single titanium locking nut on the rear.
Carbon fibre has been extensively used across the motorcycle to reduce weight while enhancing exclusivity, with components such as the fairing, mudguards, heel guards, chain guard, exhaust shield, tank protection, and radiator ducts all finished in carbon fibre. The bike gets a 6.9-inch TFT instrument cluster, and the Lamborghini version receives a unique startup sequence where the bike's production number is highlighted. The billet aluminium triple clamp carries the model name and unit number, while the same serial number is laser-etched onto the ignition key badge.
Exclusivity & Collector Value
Of the total 693 units, 630 come with a unique black and green livery, with the number 63 commemorating the year Lamborghini was founded — 1963. An additional 63 units are reserved for Lamborghini Ad Personam owners, who can customise their Panigale V4 Lamborghini to match their Revuelto. Each motorcycle is delivered with a certificate of authenticity, a customised bike cover, and a dedicated storage box for additional components. Ducati also supplies the bike in a bespoke wooden crate along with a rear stand finished in matching livery colours.
The Ducati Panigale V4 Lamborghini is engineered for a single type of buyer: the collector who demands provenance alongside performance. With 218.5 hp, a sub-185 kg frame, and a global production count of just 693 units, it occupies a space no other motorcycle currently does. At ₹1 crore, it is not priced against rival superbikes — it is priced against legacy. For those who secured a unit, they did not buy a motorcycle. They acquired a piece of Italian motorsport history that will only appreciate with time.
