Ducati XDiavel V4 Launched in India — Rs. 30.89 Lakh Beast

by | 30 Dec 2025

Ducati has officially launched the much-anticipated Ducati XDiavel V4 in India with an ex-showroom price of Rs. 30.89 lakh for the Burning Red variant and around Rs. 31.19 lakh for the Black Lava shade. Positioned as a high-performance sport cruiser motorcycle, the XDiavel V4 blends cruiser comfort with sporty dynamics, powered by Ducati’s advanced V4 Granturismo engine derived from its MotoGP and Panigale lineage.

Engine & Performance

At its heart, the XDiavel V4 features a 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine generating 168 hp at 10,750 rpm and 126 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. This powerplant uses a counter-rotating crankshaft to reduce gyroscopic effect for improved agility — a technology borrowed directly from Ducati’s MotoGP experience. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a bidirectional quickshifter for crisp up/down shifts. Ducati claims a blistering 0–100 km/h sprint in under three seconds, an impressive feat for a cruiser-style motorcycle.

Despite its muscular look, the bike weighs 229 kg (kerb), which is around 6 kg lighter than its predecessor, helping deliver both strong acceleration and confident road manners.

Chassis & Handling

Built around an aluminium monocoque frame with a single-sided swingarm, the XDiavel V4 maintains a bold and dramatic stance. Suspension duties are handled by a fully adjustable 50 mm inverted front fork and a rear monoshock, offering a balanced mix of comfort and responsive handling suited for urban and highway cruising. Braking components include twin 330 mm Brembo Stylema calipers at the front, providing strong stopping power backed by cornering ABS.

Low-set footpegs and a 770 mm seat height reinforce the cruiser vibe, while the wide 240 tyre at the rear gives it planted grip and muscular presence.

Technology & Features

The XDiavel V4 comes equipped with a robust electronics suite anchored by a 6.9-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity. six-axis IMU governs advanced rider aids like cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, launch control, and cruise control, enhancing safety and performance across conditions. Riders also get multiple riding modes — Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet — plus three power modes to tailor engine response. The forward-set ergonomics and accessory options further emphasize its adaptability for both spirited rides and long-distance touring.

The design language stays true to Ducati’s Italian flair, with a sculpted fuel tank, four-exit exhaust, and full-LED lighting that make the XDiavel V4 a head-turner on the road.

Conclusion

The Ducati XDiavel V4 stands out in India’s premium motorcycle market by merging cruiser comfort with sportbike performance. Its cutting-edge V4 Granturismo engine, refined chassis, and comprehensive electronics package make it a compelling choice for riders seeking both power and presence in one package. Whether carving through open highways or cruising city streets, the XDiavel V4 delivers an exhilarating yet accessible ride for enthusiasts who crave performance without compromising on style and comfort.
