EICMA 2023: Updated Ultraviolette F99 Racing Concept Showcased: Here Are The Changes

Besides updating the bodywork, Ultraviolette has also made extensive changes to the powertrain of the F99 racing platform, making it more powerful than before.

  • The new Ultraviolette F99 concept is powered by a liquid-cooled, 90kW electric motor.
  • Ultraviolette claims a top speed of 265 kmph and 0-100 kmph timing of 3 seconds for the F99 concept.
  • The final version of the F99 racing platform will be launched in 2025.

After showcasing in the pre-concept form at the Auto Expo 2023, Ultraviolette has now displayed the more advanced version of the F99 electric factory racing platform at the EICMA 2023. The track-oriented all-electric Ultraviolette F99 concept has been updated with more visual tweaks, active aerodynamics and a liquid-cooled powertrain, which bring it closer to reality.

Developed within a two-year duration, the Ultraviolette F99 racing platform features an aggressive carbon fibre bodywork, which looks highly aerodynamic and sharp, making it suitable for track racing. The overall design of the F99 includes air intakes at the front and carbon winglets on the side fairing panels. The motorcycle also features a minimalist LED headlamp at the front and a single-seat arrangement with a back cushion for the rider.  

According to Ultraviolette, more work is pending on the full-fledged version of the F99, which will be ready and launched globally in 2025 as the brand’s new flagship offering over the F77. Meanwhile, Ultraviolette has also opened registrations for the sales of F77 in the European markets.
