First Hero Karizma XMR Comes Out Of Facility, Deliveries To Commence Soon

With an attractive price tag of Rs. 1.73 lakh Hero Karizma XMR is out just in time for the festive season and brings a lot to the table

Hero MotoCorp recently rolled out the first unit of the new Hero Karizma XMR at its manufacturing plant. The company will likely start delivering the sporty motorcycle by the end of this month, it announced. Priced at Rs. 1.73 lakhs, it can currently be booked for a token amount of Rs. 3000. The 2023 new Hero Karizma XMR challenges the likes of Yamaha R15 V4 and Bajaj Pulsar RS200 in its segment.

The 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine, delivers up to 25.15 bhp of power and 20.4 Nm of torque, which, according to the manufacturer, are the highest figures in the segment. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch – a major improvement over the previous models.

Underpinned by an all-new steel Trellis frame, the new Hero Karizma XMR packs 300mm and 230 mm disk brakes (front and rear respectively) with dual-channel ABS. While the bike features a 37mm telescopic suspension at the front, the rear suspension is provided by a 6-step preload adjustable mono-shock absorber. 

It also packs a decent arsenal of modern features, including an inverted LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, LED turn indicators, backlit switchgear, etc. Overall, the Karizma XMR looks pretty promising with its attractive pricing and impressive specs and features.
