In a big move, Hero MotoCorp launched the Xtreme 125R at the Hero World 2024. The Xtreme 125R gets a very aggressive and sporty design language that makes it stand out from other Hero 125cc bikes. The muscular fuel tank, large shrouds and sharp LED headlamp give it an imposing streetfighter look. The 125cc Hero bike is pitted against Bajaj Pulsar NS125, Honda SP125 and TVS Raider 125, and claims a fuel economy of 66 kmpl.

Radical New Design Language
The Hero Xtreme 125R flaunts a radical new design language that sets it apart from other 125cc commuters. Upfront, it gets a aggressive looking full-LED headlamp unit that bears similarity to the Xtreme 200S. The sleek and edgy LED headlight is complemented by LED turn indicators.
The fuel tank has a chiselled design with sporty tank extensions. At the rear, the split seat setup and muscular tail section give the bike a sporty stance. The LED taillight further accentuates the rear. The radical styling makes the Xtreme 125R appear big for a 125cc motorcycle.
Engine Specs and Hardware
The Xtreme 125R draws power from a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motor is tuned to produce 12 hp power at 8250 and 10.5 Nm torque at 6000 rpm. Hardware consists of telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Braking setup includes a disc brake up front and option of drum or disc brake for the rear.
