With a significant price reduction and an arsenal of modern features, the new Honda CB300F is an attractive entry in the brand’s premium motorcycle line-up:

  • Updated to meet modern standards, the CB300F is now OBD-2 compliant.
  • With its price revised, the CB300F is now Rs. 59,000 cheaper than before.
  • The 293cc, BS 6.2 compliant engine generates 24 hp of power and 25.6 Nm of torque.

The cost revision has dropped the Honda CB300F’s price by Rs 59,000, making it a tough competitor in its segment. It’s now priced at Rs 1.70 lakh onwards (ex-showroom Delhi), with three color variants to choose from namely Sports Red, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic and Mat Axis Grey Metallic.

The new CB300F features similar styling as the outgoing model, but has been integrated with an all-LED lighting system. The fully digital instruments cluster offers five customizable brightness levels and is equipped with the Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS).

Other features that deserve a special mention include Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), dual-channel ABS, and a slip and assist clutch. The front suspension system comprises golden USD forks, while a 5-step mono shock absorber handles the rear suspension.

While there hasn’t been any notable change in performance, the reduced price definitely puts the Honda CB300F in a much better position to compete against other motorbikes in the price range. The bike features 276 mm front and 220 mm disk brakes at the front and the rear respectively. Do note that the Honda CB300F will be available exclusively at Honda’s premium BigWing dealerships.
