KTM has announced that all of its motorcycles sold in India from 1 April 2024 onwards are eligible for a total five-year warranty. Apart from the already functional 2-year/30,000 km standard warranty, all the KTM and Husqvarna models on sale in India are now offered with an additional 3-year/45,000 km extended warranty. With this new plan in place, the KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles are now offered a 5-year warranty without any cost.
KTM India consists of popular bike picks in its lineup such as KTM 125 Duke, KTM 250 Duke, KTM 390 Duke, KTM RC 250 and others. Similarly, Husqvarna features Svartpilen 250, Vitpilen 250, etc.
However, customers of KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles benefiting from this free extended warranty should note that the motorcycles should be serviced at the mandated intervals or kilometre limit recommended by KTM in the owners’ manual. The customers will be eligible for the extended warranty package only if their motorcycles are maintained properly and serviced under recommended service intervals after the completion of the standard warranty.
The extended warranty will be helpful for the owners as it will benefit them with the replacement of faulty parts and even the labour costs for the replacement process. The new extended warranty package also covers 24x7 roadside assistance, flat tyre assistance and towing of motorcycles to the nearest KTM-Husqvarna service centre.
KTM is now offering an extended warranty package to all the buyers of KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles sold from 1 April 2024 onwards. While the KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles were already available with a standard warranty of 2 years/30,000 km, the extended warranty adds a 3-year/45,000 km warranty. Including services like roadside assistance and flat tyre assistance, the extended warranty package is offered at no additional cost to customers, provided the motorcycles are serviced under recommended service intervals.
