In a move that has sent ripples of excitement through the electric vehicle (EV) community, Ola Electric, the homegrown EV pioneer, has announced an extension of its much-anticipated discount extravaganza. Initially set to conclude in February 2024, the discounts on Ola's cutting-edge scooter range will now be available until the end of March.

Savings Galore Across the Lineup

Ola Electric's decision to prolong the discount frenzy comes as a delightful surprise for consumers seeking to embrace the future of sustainable mobility. The discounts span the entire scooter range, with the flagship S1 X+ leading the charge. Originally priced at a premium Rs 1.10 lakh, this high-performance scooter can now be yours for an enticing Rs 84,999, a staggering reduction of Rs 25,000.

The versatile S1 X, available in three configurations (2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh), offers discounts ranging from Rs 79,999 to Rs 1.10 lakh, catering to various budgets and range preferences. Additionally, the S1 X+ variant, previously priced at Rs 1.10 lakh, is now available for a remarkable Rs 85,000.

Affordable Electric Mobility for All

Ola Electric's commitment to making electric mobility accessible to all is evident in the discounts offered on the S1 Air. Launched at Rs 1.20 lakh, this sleek and efficient scooter can now be yours for a compelling Rs 1.05 lakh until March 31. With an IDC-claimed range of 150km and a peak output of 6kW, the S1 Air strikes the perfect balance between performance and affordability.

Innovation and Value-Packed Offerings

Not content with mere price reductions, Ola Electric has also introduced updates to its flagship S1 Pro model. While maintaining its powerful 4kWh battery pack and a max output of 11kW, the S1 Pro now boasts improved software that enhances its range capabilities. In Eco mode, the scooter can now travel up to 180km on a single charge, a significant increase from the previous 170km. Similarly, in Normal mode, the range has been boosted from 135km to an impressive 143km.

The S1 Pro Gen 1 also features a redesigned motor with a lower continuous power output of 5kW but a higher peak power of 11kW, ensuring thrilling performance when needed. Additionally, the Gen 2 model sports a telescopic front fork, a flat floorboard, and a conventional dual-sided swingarm at the rear, enhancing the overall riding experience.

While the 7-inch TFT display remains unchanged, Ola has opted for a lower-resolution unit, potentially contributing to cost savings that can be passed on to consumers.

A Fierce Competitive Landscape

Ola Electric's aggressive pricing and innovative offerings have positioned the company as a formidable contender in the EV market, competing against established players like Ather, TVS, Bajaj, and River. With its diverse range of scooters catering to various preferences and budgets, Ola Electric is poised to capture a significant share of the burgeoning EV market.

As the discount extravaganza continues until March 31, EV enthusiasts and budget-conscious consumers alike have a golden opportunity to embrace the future of sustainable mobility without breaking the bank.
