Ola S1 ‘Holi Edition’ Scooter Zooms In. Know How It Can Be Yours?

News by Team Drivio | 14 Mar 2023

This Ola S1 scooter comes draped in a limited edition, Holi-special colour scheme that will be limited to only 5 units.

  • The Ola S1 is on sale in three battery options: 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh.
  • Its Indian Driving Cycles (IDC) stand at a claimed 85km, 125km and 165km respectively.
  • If you want the S1, it’s available in two trims: 2kWh and 3kWh.

Until now, the Ola S1 electric scooter range was only available in 12 different monotone colorways. The Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer has unveiled a limited edition Holi edition of the S1, which is by far the most unique-looking Ola scooter to leave the marque's factory.

What is special about Ola S1 Holi Edition?

The S1 Holi edition will be extremely limited, with only five units available. However, there is a catch: only current S1 owners are eligible to win one of these. The Holi edition is part of a contest announced on social media by Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola. Here are the rules for this contest.

These limited edition units will be given to the top five owners who share the best photo or video of their Holi celebrations with the S1 e-scooters. However, it is unclear whether they must pay for it. The Holi edition appears vibrant, in keeping with the festival of colours. However, we would have preferred it if the livery had been better executed.

The company has also launched a suite of offers, including a 50% discount on Ola Care (offer price: Rs 1,769) and an extended warranty. Furthermore, the Ola S1 Pro is currently available for Rs 13,000 in Tamil Nadu, Rs 12,000 in Karnataka, Kerala, and Maharashtra, and Rs 11,000 in all other states.

Ola S1 Holi Edition: What’s Unchanged?

Other bits, meanwhile, like the scooter’s range and power specs are all intact. It can still be had for the same price as before, between Rs 84,999 - 1,29,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
