Pre-bookings Of Ather Rizta Electric Scooter Commences At Rs 999

The all-new Ather Rizta will be the second electric scooter from the homegrown brand, after the 450 lineup that includes 450S, 450X and 450 Apex

Ather Energy has started accepting bookings for its upcoming electric scooter, the Rizta. Set to be unveiled on April 6th, the new Ather Rizta is now open for bookings at a nominal booking amount of Rs 999 across all the Ather Energy dealerships and the official website.  The Ather Rizta will lock horns with Ola S1, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and others in the electric scooter segment. 

The upcoming Ather Rizta electric scooter has already been spied a few times in fully camouflaged form, with a few of its details confirmed through these sightings. Going by its outline, the new Ather Rizta will be positioned as a family-oriented unisex scooter with more practicality compared to the brand’s current offering, the 450 lineup. 

A few of the features of the Ather Rizta, which are now confirmed to be offered in its, include an apron-mounted LED headlamp, all-LED turn indicators and tail lamp, a full-TFT touchscreen instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. It will also get a segment-first anti-skid feature, which is rumoured to have similar functionality as a conventional dual-channel ABS.

While the technical specifications of the Ather Rizta are still under wraps, in all likelihood, it will share its battery and motor setup with the Ather 450S and 450X. With the new Rizta, Ather Energy is expected to strengthen its position in the market and rivalry against other scooters like Ola S1, TVS iQube, Ampere Primus and Bajaj Chetak.
