Revolt RV400 Now Available On Flipkart

News by Team Drivio | 12 Aug 2023

The Revolt RV400 promises to be the perfect electric bike to replace your average commuter.

  • At 108kg, the Revolt RV400 is an extremely light motorcycle.
  • And with removable batteries, the RV400 is an extremely practical motorcycle as well.
  • What the RV400 could have done better with though, is throttle calibration.

In 2019, Revolt Motors, a company under RattanIndia ownership, introduced the RV400 electric bike to the Indian market. Initially, the bike was exclusively available for booking through Revolt's website and physical showrooms. However, in a strategic move, Revolt has now partnered with Flipkart, a renowned e-commerce platform, to expand the availability of the RV400.

This collaboration with Flipkart aims to broaden Revolt's customer reach by tapping into the vast user base and widespread platform offered by Flipkart. By making the RV400 available on this online marketplace, Revolt anticipates an increased accessibility to potential buyers.

The RV400 boasts a 3kW mid-mounted motor, granting it a claimed top speed of 85kph when in its Sport mode, which is known for its agility. In November 2022, RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd took control of the two-wheeler brand. Notably, the Kochi Police Department has recently incorporated Revolt's RV400 bikes into their vehicle fleet.

Additionally, in March of this year, Revolt made significant strides in its expansion efforts, establishing 15 new dealerships across various cities in India. These cities include Raipur, Vapi, Bahadurgarh, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Bhubaneswar, Kota, Agra, Jhansi, Meerut, Surat, Dehradun, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad, thus enhancing the brand's presence in multiple regions of the country.
