The TVS Jupiter ZX was already available with a front disc brake as standard. Now, there is a more affordable version of the scooter with a cheaper front drum brake.

  • The new TVS Jupiter ZX drum variant is priced at Rs 84,468 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
  • It gets two new colours – Starlight Blue and Olive Gold.
  • It also comes with a mobile charger and Bluetooth connectivity.

To make it more accessible to prospective buyers out on a budget, TVS has launched a more affordable version of the Jupiter ZX scooter. Earlier available with a front disc brake as standard, the TVS Jupiter ZX will now also be available with a more cost-effective drum brake at the front.

With this change, the Jupiter ZX drum is priced at Rs 84,468 (ex-showroom, Delhi) – almost Rs 1,945 cheaper than the front disc brake version. Apart from this alteration, the TVS Jupiter ZX range has also received two new colours – Starlight Blue and Olive Gold.

Compared to the standard version of the Jupiter, the ZX version comes with beige-coloured inner panels, dual-tone seat and a mobile charger. Like the front disc brake version, the new Jupiter ZX drum also gets TVS’ SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity system. With this feature, the user can have access to connected features like voice assist, call and SMS notifications and turn-by-turn navigation.

Like the other variants of the Jupiter, the new ZX drum brake variant also comes with a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 109.7cc engine, which generates 7.8 bhp of power and 8.8 Nm of torque. It also gets additional features like an LED headlamp and tail lamp, 12-inch alloy wheels and external fuel filler from the standard version of the scooter. The TVS Jupiter ZX drum will compete with its arch-rival Honda Activa, along with Hero Maestro Edge 110 and TVS’ own Scooty Zest 110.
