Flaunting a naked streetfighter-type design, the all-new Apache RTR 310 is Rs 29k cheaper than the Apache RR 310 despite many similarities.

  • The new Apache packs a decent range of features, including heated and cooled seats and a 5.0-inch TFT screen.
  • The 312cc single-cylinder engine churns out 35.6hp of power and 28.7Nm of torque.
  • Starting at Rs. 2.43 lakh, the Apache RTR 310 is a cheaper option than most of its rivals.

TVS Motor, the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India, has launched the anticipated Apache series bike, Apache RTR 310. It shares a lot of similarities with the TVS Apache RR 310, which is based on the same 310cc platform. Like its more expensive sports bikes, the RTR 310 features a lightweight trellis frame. The RTR 310 is priced between Rs 2.42 - 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is made available in three different variants.

Though powered by the 312cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, the RTR 310 boasts higher max power and torque outputs than the RR 310 by 1.6hp and 0.7Nm respectively. The motorcycle comes with a 6-speed gearbox, an assist-and-slipper clutch and 5 riding modes.

Other notable features include TMPS and temperature-controlled seats. Many of these are offered as a part of the brand’s Built To Order customization package. The landscape-oriented 5.0-inch TFT screen is standard on all variants.
