TVS Motor launches the TVS Ronin TD Special Edition in India

Following the success of the brand’s 'modern-retro' cruiser, the TVS Ronin, TVS Motor has launched the TVS Ronin TD special edition motorcycle in India. 

  • TVS Ronin TD is priced at Rs. 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). 
  • The special-edition bike features a lot of aesthetic upgrades, including several new blacked-out elements.
  • TVS Ronin TD special edition comes in an all-new triple-tone Nimbus Grey colour option.

TVS Motor’s popular cruiser bike TVS Ronin, is now available in a special edition variant – TVS Ronin TD. Priced at Rs. 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom), the motorcycle flaunts a new paint scheme and a plethora of upgrades. You can get the TVS Ronin TD in a stylish Nimbus Grey tone-colour option, with grey as the primary tone, white as secondary, and a stylish red stripe. The TVS retro is pitted against the likes of Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Hero XPulse 200T and others in the segment.

Mechanically, the new addition to the brand’s lineup isn’t very different from the standard edition Ronin. It continues to use a 225.9 cc, air/oil-cooled engine that generates up to 20.1 bhp of power and 19.9Nm of torque. The powertrain is paired with a 5-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

While there haven’t been any changes to the bike’s engine, TVS Ronin TD flaunts a more stylish and blackened look with more blacked-out elements on the lower half of the bike. The black headlamp bezel adds to the style, as does the R logo branding on the wheels. The digital cluster includes a low battery indicator, estimated time of arrival, distance to empty, service due indication, gear shift indication, and a side stand engine inhibitor.
