Two-wheelers Launched In India In February 2023: Ola S1 Air, River Indie & More

From minor updates to commuters to brand new lifestyle scooters, the past month saw it all 

  • Ola introduced new variants for the S1 and S1 Air series. 
  • River launched its much-awaited scooter River Indie, dubbed as the ‘SUV of scooters’
  • Japanese two-wheeler giant updated the Yamaha FZ-X with an OBD 2-compliant engine

In terms of two-wheelers, the shortest month of the year saw a slew of launches. While many popular bikes received critical updates, we also welcomed some stunning new electric scoots. Here is a comprehensive list of all the two-wheelers that came our way this February.

River Indie

Bengaluru, which has already spawned many EV manufacturers like Ather, Ola, Simple, added another one to the list: River. The brand launched the Indie, dubbed as the ‘SUV of scooters’, boasting of immense practicality, a solid range and quite some features too.

Ola S1

Another Bengaluru-based EV maker, Ola Electric too, revamped its Ola S1 and Ola S1 Air lineup, giving the customers as many as three new variants, each of which with a different battery pack and top speed. 

Yamaha Bikes & Scooters

The Japanese marque took the wraps off its updated bike and scooter lineup. The MT-15 V2.0, R15 V4 and the FZ series were the bikes that benefited from this. The scooters, meanwhile, included the Yamaha Fascino 125 and the Yamaha RayZR 125. All of them got greener with new OBD 2-compliant engines with the norms kicking in from April 2023.

Bounce Infinity E1 Limited Edition

Bounce launched a Limited Edition of its electric scooter, the Infinity E1 at a rather premium price tag of Rs 1,06,798, ex-showroom price including FAME II subsidies. 

Okaya Faast F2F

Another electric scooter that was launched last month was the Okaya Faast F2F. At Rs 83,999 (ex-showroom Delhi), it’s the most affordable scooty from the brand’s India lineup.
