With this, the Vida V1 aims to take the fight to Ather that has recently got the tally of 1000 fast charging stations all over India.

- Every charging station will be equipped with DC and AC charging sockets
- These fast chargers will allow you to charge at a claimed rate of 1.2km/minute
Vida, Hero Motor Corp’s electric mobility subsidiary has now begun establishing a fast-charging network in the three cities where the e-scooter is currently sold i.e. Delhi, Bangalore and Jaipur. The electric vehicle arm launched the Vida V1 electric scooter last year in India.
What is Hero Vida Fast Charging Network?
Fast-charging is definitely one of the most crucial elements to the success of an electric vehicle. Vida has now, hence, begun setting up its own charging station. With nearly 300 charging stations set up in 50 locations in Delhi, Bangalore and Jaipur, Vida is hot on Ather’s tail, who reached the 1000 fast charger milestone recently.
While the rate of charging (1.2km/min) for the Vida V1 is slower than two of its chief rivals, the Ola S1 Pro (50km in 15 minutes) and the Ather 450X (15km in 10 minutes), it’s definitely a good start and we hope Vida can work on that too, in the coming future.
What Hero Vida V1 scooter have to offer?
The Hero Vida V1 Plus is powered by a 6kW motor and has a 3.44kWh removable battery pack with a claimed Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 143km. Meanwhile, the V1 Pro has a slightly larger 3.94kWh removable battery pack and an impressive IDC range of 165km. It has a telescopic fork and mono-shock suspension, as well as a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.
