While the festive season saw sales of two-wheelers booming to a new level, there were a few more events by a few automotive brands which grabbed headlines. 

  • Hero MotoCorp launches a new “Premia” range of premium dealerships, that will sell top-of-the-line offerings from the brand. 
  • Ather and Ola Electric announce festive benefits on their range of electric scooters.
  • Triumph launched Scrambler 400X at Rs 2.63 lakh, with deliveries to start in November 2023.
  • CEO of Royal Enfield takes part in the final rounds of testing of the upcoming Himalayan 452 in Ladakh. 

October 2023 was indeed an eventful month for the Indian two-wheeler industry witnessing much action in terms of product sales, thanks to the auspicious festive time of Navratri. However, in addition, more events kept on happening in the Indian two-wheeler industry on the sidelines, which grabbed the attention of many and kept the overall momentum rolling. Here are those:

Hero Premia dealership debuts in India

Inspired by the Big Wing showrooms, the premium outlets of Honda two-wheelers for premium bikes and the customer experience in India, Hero MotoCorp has also launched the “Premia” range of its premium dealer outlets. The first showroom has opened its doors in Calicut, Kerala. 

The Hero Premia showrooms are authorized for retail sales of premium Hero MotoCorp offerings like Hero XPulse 200, Hero Karizma XMR, Vida V1 electric scooter and even the Harley-Davidson X440.

CEO of Royal Enfield rides the all-new Himalayan 452 in Ladakh

With the official debut of the all-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 nearing, the anticipation for the motorcycle is at an all-time high. Now, the CEO of Royal Enfield, B Govind Rajan, also took part in the final rounds of testing of the new Himalayan 452 in Leh, where he rode the motorcycle through the world’s highest motorable road, Umling La. 

Festive offers from Ola Electric and Ather announced

Two of the tightest rivals in the electric mobility space in India, Ola Electric and Ather, have announced benefits for customers in the ongoing festive season. As a part of the already-operational “Bharat EV Fest” from Ola Electric, a “72 hours electric rush” event was announced.

Under this, customers were offered an additional benefit of Rs 2,000 over the Rs 24,500 savings offered on the Ola range of scooters from October 22-24, 2023. Meanwhile, Ather also announced benefits worth up to Rs 40,000 on both of its models, the 450S and 450X

Triumph Scrambler 400X launched, deliveries to begin in November

Hot on the heels of the already-successful launch of Speed 400, Triumph announced the prices of its more rugged version, the Scrambler 400X, this month. Priced at Rs 2.63 lakh, the new Triumph Scrambler 400X gets subtle visual and mechanical tweaks over the Speed 400, the deliveries of which will begin in November 2023.
