Yamaha RayZR 125 & Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid Launched in India

by | 18 Aug 2025

Yamaha has introduced the refreshed Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooters in India, now featuring the innovative Enhanced Power Assist system, modernized styling, and a host of tech upgrades that boost both performance and appeal.

Engine & Performance

Both scooters retain the 125-cc Blue Core fuel-injected engine paired with a mild-hybrid powertrain that integrates Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator and Start/Stop system. The Enhanced Power Assist boosts torque during initial take-offs, uphill climbs, or when loaded, resulting in stronger acceleration and improved real-world usability. Power outputs remain around 8 bhp (≈8.2 PS) and 10.3 Nm—adequate for urban commuting. The scooters are also E20 fuel–compatible, aligning with broader fuel sustainability goals.

Chassis & Handling

Both models ride on lightweight platforms—each under 100 kg kerb weight—making them nimble around city traffic. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks up front and a monoshock rear, offering balanced handling and ride comfort. Riders also benefit from practical touches like side-stand engine cut-offLED DRLs, and 21-litre under-seat storage.

Technology & Features

Yamaha has significantly upgraded the feature set. Certain variants now include a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, offering turn-by-turn navigation, intersection alerts, and road-name display via the Y-Connect app (integrated with Google Maps). Additional features include Answer-BackLED lighting, and a smartphone-linked digital display.

Colour options have been refreshed. The Fascino S variant gains Matte Grey, while Disc and Drum variants get Metallic Light Green and Metallic White, respectively. The RayZR Street Rally debuts in Matte Grey Metallic, and the disc variant sports Silver White Cocktail.

Pricing & Availability

  • RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid starts from around ₹79,340 ex-showroom (Delhi) for the base drum-brake variant; variants go up to ₹92,970 for the Street Rally version. Yamaha is also offering limited-time benefits including up to ₹7,000 off and a 10-year total warranty until August 31, 2025.
  • Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid prices begin at ₹80,750 for the base model, rising to around ₹1.02 lakh for the top-spec S variant with TFT console.

Conclusion

The newly launched Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid elevate the 125-cc hybrid scooter segment with a potent mix of hybrid-boosted performance, smart connectivity features, and refreshed styling. These models are ideal for riders seeking efficient, tech-rich daily commuters that deliver strong pick-up and modern convenience. Whether you're a style-conscious urban commuter or a tech-savvy rider, Yamaha's latest hybrids offer a balanced blend of practicality and performance—making them standout choices in their class.
