You can now replace your Ola scooter’s front fork for free!

In order to address the major build quality issues, Ola has finally taken the right step
- There are three S1 variants on sale in the market with their battery capacities at 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh.
- The IDC(Indian Driving Cycle) ranges for the aforementioned scooters stand at a claimed 85km, 125km and 165km respectively.
- Underpinnings include disc brakes at both ends along with combined braking system (CBS).
Ola has offered to replace the front fork on its S1 electric scooters for free, addressing the front suspension issue that has plagued some of its scooters. Surprisingly, the brand has stated that the community's concerns about the fork's safety are unfounded, and has still offered a replacement. In any case, it's encouraging to see Ola address this issue.
Ola S1 Front Fork: How To Get It Replaced?
Those interested in swapping out their fancy-looking single fork for a more conventional but tried-and-tested telescopic shock can make an appointment at their nearest Ola Experience centre. The appointment period will begin on March 22nd.

The crux of the issue is that, since their release, many units of Ola S1 e-scooters have experienced a variety of issues, including the alleged failure of the front fork arm, which snapped under load.
After photos of many S1 e-scooters with a broken front suspension went viral on the internet, quite a few eyebrows were raised over the scooter’s build quality. Ola Electric has now redesigned the front fork arm to "enhance the durability and strength even further," addressing the issue at hand.
