The Ola S1X has garnered a LOT of attention from prospective buyers for being the most affordable Ola scooter that you can buy as of now. In fact, the base 2kWh variant of the scooter is priced at a mouth watering Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom Bangalore), making its price a whole lot closer to India’s best-selling scooter, the Honda Activa 6G. How to Reserve the Ola S1X Electric Scooter For Yourself:

• Go to olaelectric.com and click/tap on the ‘Order Now’ button under the ‘Introducing The All New Ola S1 X’ banner
• Once you do so, it’ll redirect you to a page where you can customize your scooter
• This includes selecting the colour scheme you want as well as the scooter and battery pack of your choice
• Click on ‘I Agree To The Terms And Conditions’ and then on ‘Continue’, after which you’ll have to put in your registration pin code
• The website will then tell you more about the insurance value. Insurance about the scooter, screen, etc.
• Once you agree to all of that, it’ll lead you to the final effective price of the scooter
• Next, select your mode of payment, enter your phone number, tick the captcha box and then make the payment through whatever mode suits you the most. 
• Use the OTP received on your mobile, then click/tap ‘Next’.
• Pick Debit/Credit card, UPI, or Netbanking.

What Does The S1X Pack? 

Ola introduced new scooters called S1 X at a recent event for customers. There are three versions and here’s what each one packs: 

S1X 2kWh

This is the basic version and Ola has given it a 2kWh Lithium-ion battery connected to a 2.7kW motor. It can reach a top speed of 85 kmph and travel up to 85 km on a single charge in the Eco mode. It weighs 101kg and comes with a charger that has a power of 350W. 

However, it lacks some important features like over-the-air updates, music controls, navigation, call and message alerts, and keyless operation. To reduce costs, Ola has equipped this version with a 3.5-inch screen and a physical key. 

S1X 3kWh

The next version comes with a 3kWh battery and a 2.7kW motor. It can go up to a speed of 90 kmph and cover a distance of 125 km on a single charge in the Eco mode. Ola has included a 3.5-inch screen and a physical key in the mid-spec S1X version. Compared to the basic model, this one is 7kg heavier. The price for this mid-spec version is Rs. 89,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) until August 21, and it will then be priced at Rs. 99,999.

S1X Plus

The Plus variant is the highest-spec version in the S1X lineup. It is priced at Rs. 99,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will also see a price increase of Rs. 10,000 after August 21. Even though the S1X Plus has the same 3kWh battery and 2.7kW motor, it can reach a top speed of 90 kmph and cover a range of 125 km. 

Unlike the other versions, the S1X Plus comes with OTA updates, music controls, remote boot lock/unlock, Bluetooth/GPS connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control, predictive maintenance, and control through the Ola app.
