The Xtreme 200S too benefits from Hero’s 199.5cc air-cooled four-valve engine.

  • The Xtreme 200S 4V’s design language is still as striking and attractive as ever.
  • Hero’s updated 199.6 air-cooled 4-valve engine now pumps out a decent 19.17PS and 17.35Nm.
  • At Rs 1.41 lakh, the bike is quite a good value for money proposition.

Hero MotoCorp has undeniably made remarkable progress in strengthening its portfolio of high-end products in recent times. Roughly a year and a half ago, the company's comeback into the premium market was marked by the XPulse 200. Since then, the Xtreme 200R stood as their lone offering in this segment.

However, during the recent launch event, Hero surprised everyone by not only introducing the XPulse 200 and 200T for sale but also unveiling yet another new motorcycle, the Xtreme 200S 4V. To assess its performance, we took it for a ride around BIC, and here's our verdict on the experience:

Hero Xtreme 200S 4V Review: Design & Features

The Xtreme 200S exudes a breath of fresh air with its sleek lines and uncluttered design, showcasing Hero's deliberate choice to avoid excessive decals, resulting in an impressive and clean aesthetic. The sharp character lines not only enhance its appeal but also seamlessly flow from the fairing to the fuel tank, creating a cohesive and visually pleasing look.

One commendable aspect is the slim fairing design, where Hero resisted the temptation to make it overly wide just to give the illusion of a larger bike. Instead, they focused on maintaining a balanced and elegant profile.

The all-LED headlamp unit on the Hero Xtreme 200S is another standout feature, captivating with its strikingly attractive and contemporary design. Overall, Hero has crafted a motorcycle that combines style and substance, presenting a visually appealing and refined package with the Xtreme 200S.

With a price tag just above Rs 1.41 lakh, the fully-faired Xtreme 200S proves to be an outstanding value proposition. Its refined and reasonably powerful 200cc engine, combined with exceptional build quality and likeable dynamics, presents a compelling choice for buyers.

Beyond its performance, the motorcycle boasts a fresh and attractive design, along with comfortable ergonomics, culminating in a well-rounded package. Hero's introduction of this model not only enriches their lineup but also injects excitement into the entire 200cc segment.
