About Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter

The Chetak electric is essentially the electrified avatar of Bajaj’s iconic scooter model from the days gone by. The all-new Chetak electric was launched at the start of 2020 in two variants and continues to sport retro design highlights.

At the heart of the Chetak electric scooter sits an IP67 rated 3.8kW electric motor, which draws juice from a 3kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The electric motor allows the Chetak e-scooter to hit a top speed of 70kmph. Bajaj claims a range of 90km on a single full charge for the Chetak. Charging the battery pack fully takes about 5 hours with the home charging equipment.

The Bajaj electric scooter sits on 12-inch alloy wheels shod with 90/90 front and 90/100 rear tubeless tyres. Anchoring duties are handled by a drum brake up front and a disc brake at the rear. The scooter comes with features like all-LED lighting, digital console, and feather touch activated electronic switches and reverse assist mode.
