The Indian market boasts a plethora of thrilling upcoming bikes. Ranging from aggressive, sporty streetfighters to retro and minimalist scramblers, numerous bikes from various manufacturers are set to be launched in India soon. Here's a swift overview of some of the finest upcoming bikes expected to hit the Indian shores in the next six months: 

Bajaj Pulsar NS400 (Rs 1.70 lakh expected price)

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is all set to grace our shores very very soon. The NS400 will essentially be the Bajaj Dominar 400 under its bodywork and will follow the NS series styling from Bajaj. So we expect the NS400 to look more like a scaled up NS200 and NS160 than actually a sibling of the Dominar 400. And why we are extremely excited for this is because the Dominar 400’s biggest issue was its hefty weight. 

So now that the NS400 will get streetfighter like styling, we hope it will weigh a fair bit less than the Dominar 400. 

Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 (Rs 2.24 lakh expected price)

After the Svartpilen 401 and the Vitpilen 250, Husqvarna is all set to soon get the Svartpilen 250 in India too. This cafe racer 250cc bike will get the 249cc engine from the KTM 250 Duke, an engine that we quite like for the sheer versatility it has on offer. So if you liked the Duke but want it in a more exotic, better-looking package, you should definitely not miss out on the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250. We think Husqvarna could price it around the Rs 2.24 lakh mark, a bit less than the 250 Duke. 

Royal Enfield Bullet 650 (Rs 3 lakh expected price)

The design of the Bullet is its most iconic feature, and therefore, we anticipate minimal alterations in this aspect from Royal Enfield. The Bullet 650's design will undoubtedly draw inspiration from the muscular and robust aesthetics of the Bullet 350, coupled with an open-chested riding posture. Consequently, the Bullet 650 is expected to be significantly larger in size compared to the Bullet 350, making it a notable attention-grabber.

Royal Enfield's Bullet 650 will finally integrate the beloved 650cc engine, becoming the fifth model to feature this powerplant following the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, Interceptor 650, Super Meteor 650, and the Shotgun 650. Additionally, plans are underway for the Himalayan to also adopt this engine, resulting in the imminent release of the Himalayan 650.

The 650cc parallel twin engine by Royal Enfield has garnered acclaim for its torquey performance, making it effortless to navigate through city streets even at higher gears. However, when the need for speed arises, the engine exhibits impressive capabilities, capable of delivering rapid acceleration. The anticipation surrounding its integration into the Bullet 650 has heightened excitement among enthusiasts.

Triumph Daytona 660 (Rs 9.20 lakh expected price)

Triumph will soon get the Daytona 660 in India and this will essentially be a replacement to the earlier three-cylinder 675cc Daytona. That said, we are not too sure how good the new 660cc engine will do in terms of outright performance when compared to the older engine. 

Suzuki V-Strom 800DE (Rs 11 lakh expected price)

Suzuki’s answer to the increasingly growing middleweight adventure touring bikes is the new V-Strom 800DE. With this, the bike will take on bikes like the Triumph Tiger 900, the BMW F 850 GS and the Honda Transalp 750.  

BMW R1300 GS (Rs 24 lakh expected price)

BMW has updated its flagship adventure tourer, the R1300 GS and bestowed upon it multiple kinds of updates for the year, including a lot of weight loss as well as multiple engine changes. In fact, the biggest change definitely comes in terms of design. While the older GS was a big and bulky-looking bike, the new 1300 GS is a lot sharper and compact in terms of outright road presence.
