The 155 cc liquid-cooled engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) continues to power the maxi-scooter, which is mated to a CVT transmission. This liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve motor has a maximum power output of 15 PS at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.9 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Metallic Silver receives contrasting black and gold accents, as well as gold alloy wheels.

The prices for the sporty scooter are now pegged at Rs 1,42,800 (ex-showroom Delhi) for all the four paint schemes on offer, translating to a reasonable Rs 2,000 price hike.
Yamaha has updated the R15, R15S, and MT-15 V2 motorcycles for the 2023MY, in addition to the Aerox 155 maxi-scooter. With the new Intensity White colorway, the R15 V4 now has a Quick Shifter.
