2025 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Launched: Price, Specs & Key Upgrades
by | 16 Sep 2025
Royal Enfield has unveiled the 2025 Meteor 350, a refreshed take on its cruiser that blends tradition with modern features. With updates like a slipper-clutch, LED lighting, Tripper navigation pod, and new colour variants, the 2025 Meteor 350 aims to strengthen its appeal in the 350cc cruiser segment. The launch reflects a price rework following GST changes, making the Meteor 350 more competitive.
Engine & Performance
The 2025 Meteor 350 retains its tried-and-tested 349cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled J-series engine, producing 20.2 BHP at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm torque at 4,000 rpm. Power delivery remains smooth in the low to mid revs—typical of Royal Enfield’s cruiser DNA. The update includes an assist-and-slipper clutch, which eases clutch operation and improves downshifts. There are no changes in displacement, bore-stroke, or gearing; it continues with a 5-speed gearbox.
Chassis & Handling
Mechanically, the underpinnings remain largely unchanged. The Meteor 350 continues on its twin-tube spine frame, with telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear (six-step adjustable preload). Braking duties are handled by a 300mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc, both with dual-channel ABS. The kerb weight is about 191 kg, and seat height, ground clearance, and tyre sizes remain in line with previous models.
Technology & Features
Here’s what’s new and upgraded:
- LED headlamp and LED turn indicators now standard on Fireball and Stellar variants, bringing better visibility and a modern look.
- Tripper navigation pod (turn-by-turn navigation) across more variants.
- USB Type-C charging port, assist & slipper clutch, and adjustable levers on Aurora and Supernova variants as standard.
- New seven-colour options and fresh paint schemes for all variants: Fireball, Stellar, Aurora, Supernova.
Pricing & Variants
Thanks to the new GST rate cut from 28% to 18% for bikes up to 350cc effective September 22, 2025, the Meteor 350 has seen a price reduction.
Ex-showroom prices for the 2025 Meteor 350 are:
Mileage as per ARAI is approx 41.88 kmpl, with a fuel tank capacity of around 15 litres, giving a theoretical range of over 450-500 km.
Conclusion
The 2025 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 bolsters its cruiser credentials through feature enhancements rather than mechanical overhauls. With its classic styling intact, the addition of a slipper clutch, LED lamps, Tripper navigation and fresh colour schemes make it sharper, more usable, and better value — especially post the GST reduction. It is ideal for those who enjoy relaxed highway runs, weekend rides, and cruiser aesthetics but want modern amenities and smoother controls. For riders seeking a balanced cruiser under ₹2.20-2.30 lakh (on-road), the Meteor 350 now offers more for less.
