Honda CB350C Special Edition Launched: Retro 350cc Marvel
by | 29 Sep 2025
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled the new Honda CB350C Special Edition, reviving its 350cc classic line with fresh visual appeal and branding. Priced at ₹2.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), it marks the top trim in the rebranded CB350C range, combining retro flair with modern features.
Engine & Performance
Under the skin, the CB350C Special Edition retains the proven 348.36 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, BSVI OBD2B / E20-compliant PGM-FI engine that powers the standard CB350. In this edition, it delivers 21.07 PS at 5,500 rpm and 29.5 Nm at 3,000 rpm. A 5-speed gearbox with assist & slipper clutch ensures smooth upshifts and prevents rear-wheel lock during aggressive downshifts.
This setup gives a refined powerband suited to both urban commuting and relaxed highway cruising. While the top-end is not aggressive, the strong mid-torque ensures enjoyable flexibility in real-world conditions.
Chassis & Handling
The CB350C Special Edition uses the same half-duplex cradle (double cradle) frame and suspension setup, with telescopic forks up front and dual gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by dual disc brakes (310 mm front, 240 mm rear) with dual-channel ABS as standard.
With a kerb weight of 187 kg, the bike carries moderate heft. The weight, along with retro ergonomics and a stable geometry, give it composed behavior on highways and predictable handling in city roads.
Technology & Features
The highlight of the Special Edition lies in its cosmetic and feature upgrades rather than mechanical overhaul. The bike sports striped graphics across the fuel tank, front and rear fenders, a Special Edition sticker and a new CB350C badge distinguishing it from the base CB350 trims. The rear grabrail is now chrome-finished, replacing the black unit of the standard models, and seat options (black or brown) shift depending on the colour theme.
On the tech front, it retains the semi-digital (digital + analogue) instrument cluster with Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS) for navigation prompts, call/text alerts and music control. Safety aids include Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), dual-channel ABS, and assist & slipper clutch.
Mileage is claimed at 42.17 kmpl as per BikeDekho’s listing. That, along with the engine’s smooth nature, underlines the bike’s usability for day-to-day riding.
