After shocking everyone by launching the niche and powerful Ninja ZX-4R, Kawasaki has now started delivering the motorcycle to its customers in India. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R was launched in India on September 11, 2023, at Rs 8.49 lakh(ex-showroom), making it the most affordable motorcycle with an inline-four engine.

However, despite being the most affordable motorcycle with an inline-four engine, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R is an expensive proposition, as it is the costliest sub-400cc motorcycle in India.
Brought to India via the CBU route, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R was brought in two slots of 25 motorcycles each in the first batch, and now, all 50 units of the motorcycle are reported to be sold out.
For those willing to buy the Ninja ZX-4R and missed the first batch of the motorcycle, Kawasaki is accepting new bookings of Ninja ZX-4R on its official website and all of its dealerships across the country. The new bookings will now be a part of the third slot, the deliveries of which will take place in early 2024.
Available in a single colour option of Metallic Spark Black, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R has no direct rival matching its prowess as a sub-500cc supersport motorcycle with an inline-four engine. However, the motorcycle will witness competition from the soon-to-be-launched Aprilia RS 457.
