In 2001, HMSI introduced its inaugural two-wheeler, Activa, laying the foundation for its remarkable trajectory in the country. In fact, given how many Activas the brand still manages to sell, it is not surprising to see that these many Activas actually ever existed in India. 

Subsequently, in 2002, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India initiated its exports, expanding its operations beyond the domestic market. Apart from its regular everyday mundane commuters, the brand has not been able to price any of its products nicely and that is one of the main reasons as to why Honda BigWing has such dismal sales numbers.
