Enhanced Performance & Capability

At the heart of the Himalayan 450 is an all-new 450cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled fuel-injected engine producing 40hp and 45Nm torque. The motor promises to add extra grunt while retaining the 411's tractable nature. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the power-plant aims to deliver improved acceleration and cruising abilities compared to the 411.

Adding to the performance will be beefier components like better-tuned suspension and dual-purpose tyres. Upfront is a more adjustable long-travel telescopic fork while the rear gets a preload-adjustable monoshock. The 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels come wrapped in dual-sport oriented knobby tyres. With its improved spec-sheet, the Himalayan 450 is positioned as a highly capable middleweight ADV for off-road exploration and commuting versatility.

Feature-Rich & Refined

In terms of features, the new Himalayan 450 will pack in quite a few segment-first goodies. The ADV tourer will come equipped with a digital-analog instrument cluster integrating navigation. Adding to comfort will be a two-stage heated seat for cold weather riding.

Royal Enfield has also worked on refining the overall fit and finish. The 450 uses improved switchgear and comes painted in unique dual-tone color options. While retaining its characteristic rugged appeal, the new model aims to feel more premium in terms of quality and refinement.
