While the domestic sales of Royal Enfield saw a rise in MoM sales and a decline in YoY sales, the export figures are vice-versa.

  • Royal Enfield records 10 per cent growth in YoY sales and a minor 2.76 per cent decline in MoM sales in the domestic market in March 2024.
  • The exports from Royal Enfield witnessed a growth of 18.5 per cent in MoM and a decline of 23 per cent in YoY numbers in March 2024.
  • Royal Enfield recently launched Super Meteor and Shotgun 650 in the USA and Bullet 350 in Japan.

Royal Enfield continued its streak of success in March 2024 by recording significant growth in its year-on-year (YoY) sales in the said month. That being said, Royal Enfield also witnessed a degrowth in its month-on-month (MoM) sales in the same month. In the exports, while the MoM sales saw an uprise, the YoY sales declined. The domestic YoY sales surge was made possible with good numbers recorded by RE models such as Hunter 350, Bullet 350, Classic 350, Meteor 350, and others in the line-up.

In March 2024, Royal Enfield managed to record sales of 66,044 units in the domestic market compared to the 59,884 units sold in March 2023, which is a YoY growth of 10 per cent. However, in February 2024, Royal Enfield sold 67,922 units, as a result of which the MoM record saw a minor decline of 2.76 per cent.

As far as exports were concerned, Royal Enfield shipped 9,507 units in March 2024, which is higher than the 8,013 units shipped in February 2024, thus recording a MoM growth of 18.65 per cent. However, the retro motorcycle manufacturer had shipped 12,351 units in March 2023, as a result of which the YoY exports saw a decline of 23 per cent.

Currently riding high on the success of its 350cc series of motorcycles and the recently-launched Himalayan, Royal Enfield also made noteworthy launches in the global markets by introducing Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 in the USA and Bullet 350 in Japan.
