Vida Dirt.E K3 Electric Dirt Bike for Kids Launched at Rs. 69,990

by | 15 Dec 2025

Hero MotoCorp’s EV sub-brand Vida Dirt.E K3 has officially entered the Indian market as a purpose-built electric dirt bike for kids aged 4–10, priced at an introductory Rs. 69,990 (ex-showroom) for the first 300 buyers. This fun, safe, and configurable mini e-motorcycle is designed to offer young riders a confidence-building, off-road experience with modern technology and parental controls.

Engine & Performance

The Vida Dirt.E K3 comes equipped with a 500W peak electric motor powered by a 360 Wh removable lithium-ion battery, which can be charged fully in roughly three hours and delivers up to around three hours of riding time depending on terrain and mode selected.

To support kids at different learning stages, it offers three ride modes — Beginner, Amateur, and Pro — capping top speeds at approximately 8 km/h, 16 km/h and 25 km/h respectively. This progression helps parents introduce speed and control gradually while keeping the experience engaging.

Chassis & Handling

One of the standout aspects is the size-adjustable chassis, which allows the bike to grow with the child. Using a simple tool, parents can switch between Small, Medium, and Large settings, altering the seat height (454 mm, 544 mm, 631 mm) and wheelbase to maintain optimal ergonomics as their child grows. At a lightweight 22 kg, it’s easy for young riders to handle and maneuver.

The bike rides on 16-inch spoked wheels and comes standard with a rear hydraulic disc brake — designed to reduce front-wheel washouts — with an optional front brake available. Simple, kid-friendly control levers and impact-absorbing components further enhance safety and confidence on dirt tracks.

Technology & Features

Safety and control are central to the Vida Dirt.E K3 features package. A magnetic lanyard kill switch immediately cuts power if the rider falls off, and a smartphone app lets parents set speed limits, lock specific ride modes, adjust acceleration, and view ride data — all from their phone.

The removable battery with a secure magnetic connector and sealed enclosure protects against dust and moisture, simplifying home charging and daily use. Additional accessories like larger suspension units and upgraded tires are available as kids progress.

Conclusion

The Vida Dirt.E K3 establishes itself as a thoughtful entry point into off-road riding for children. With its adjustable chassis, three ride modes, parental app control, and kid-centric safety features, it bridges the gap between play bike and real dirt bike experience. Priced competitively at Rs. 69,990 (introductory) and backed by Hero’s EV ecosystem, it offers a unique proposition for parents keen to nurture early riding skills while keeping safety paramount.
