Vida V1 To Get Multiple Scooters Based On Similar Platform
Article by Drivio | 17th Jun 23
In the next two years, the V1 platform will continue to generate a wave of exhilarating e-scooters.
- All the scooters will come at varied prices.
- Currently, prices for the Vida V1 start from Rs 1.26 lakh.
- It slots nicely between the Ola S1 Air and the TVS iQube S.
Hero Vida, the electric vehicle (EV) division of a prominent global two-wheeler manufacturer, recently revealed an ambitious strategy for brand expansion during an investor conference. The company's plan involves establishing 100 additional dealerships nationwide by 2024.
This initiative serves multiple purposes: reinforcing Hero Vida's position in the fiercely competitive e-scooter market and hinting at forthcoming products that will emerge from the V1 e-scooter platform.
Alongside expanding its dealership network, Hero Vida intends to invest in the development of new electric scooters that will be introduced by the fourth quarter of 2024. These scooters will be gradually built on the V1 platform, offering a diverse range of options with distinct characteristics such as sportiness and family-friendliness.

Presently, the Vida V1 Pro provides a blend of sporty attributes and practicality for everyday use. However, it doesn't cater to either aspect with significant excitement. Therefore, an exciting addition to the Vida lineup would be a sportier model with higher top speeds and more aggressive styling, appealing to enthusiasts. Similarly, envisioning a family-oriented e-scooter from Hero, similar to TVS's iQube, would complement Hero's existing mass-market appeal for families.
Hero Vida's expansion plan, which includes a wider presence across the nation and the introduction of new electric scooters, is a logical step considering the intensifying competition. With rival brands offering products based on similar platforms but with varying prices and features, this strategy enables Hero to attract new customers.
